It still needs works (alternator is noisy and will need an overhaul), but damn, is this thing fast! As mentioned before, I will sell it around 4500 to 5000$, shipping from Japan to your local Ro-Ro port included :)

Full video and tons of photos will be taken later on of course... The car is not perfect cosmetically (quite a massive paint peel), but damn, is it a blast to drive!

Also, what to do when a Daihatsu Fellow Max “overcools”...

Classy :)

It’s like a hot wheels car!

My grandparents had one of those. In vanilla version, red with plaid seats. This one is... Different. Looks like a blast. How would it compare to something like a 205 GTi?

Hum... I think it’s faster really... I haven’t pushed it too much yet and will for the test drive video, but yeah... It’s really insanely fast for what is only a 543cc engine! Also, I think it has a slightly higher boost than stock... It is a fairly common mod for these at the time and takes pretty nothing to make them go from 0.7bar when stock to 1 or 1..1 bar of pressure.

Don’t tempt me. I want this car. I NEED heat in my house. I’ll buy a couple lottery tickets and cross my fingers.
